In 2013, LaShawn Dobbs had a life-changing encounter, in that moment, the vision for DiViNE Purpose Publishing (DPP) was revealed—name, purpose, and all.
For years, DPP helped authors bring their stories to life with excellence and heart. But at the end of 2019, everything shifted. LaShawn felt led to pause the publishing journey, unsure if she would ever return. And yet—the calling never left.
In 2024, she returned with fresh clarity and a deeper vision. DiViNE Purpose Publishing became Divine Purpose Publishing House (DPPH)—not just a company, but a sacred space for storytellers, visionaries, and change-makers who carry messages meant to impact the world.
DPPH was never meant to blend in with traditional, self-publishing or hybrid models. It was born from a sacred calling to do things differently: to honor the divine purpose behind each story and to walk with authors through a deeply relational, customized publishing journey.
We don’t publish for the sake of publishing. We publish with intention. With excellence. With legacy in mind.
