Hi there! I’m LaShawn Dobbs, the heart behind Divine Purpose Publishing House. Starting DPPH was a calling that flowed from my passion for storytelling and my belief in the power of words to inspire and transform. It’s been my joy to create a space where authors feel supported, seen, and celebrated as they bring their dreams to life.
As the founder and publisher, I bring a relational, heart-centered approach to everything we do at DPPH. For me, publishing is deeply personal—it’s about walking alongside authors to help them share their unique stories with the world.
Words hold a special place in my heart—they’re my love language. I’ve always been captivated by their beauty and power, especially when used to affirm, encourage, and connect. That passion is at the core of my commitment to honoring every author’s voice and story.
When I’m not helping authors, you’ll find me enjoying time with my family—my husband, children, grandchildren, and our sweet grand dog, Grace. I also love journaling, sipping coffee, and reflecting on the beauty of life’s journey.
